CT Academic Libraries Choose Endeavor

By LJ Staff

Connecticut College, Trinity College, and Wesleyan University, which together make up the CTW Library Consortium, have inked a deal with Endeavor Information Systems to install a Voyager ILS as well as a Universal Borrowing intraconsortia lending system. Combined, the triumvirate have more than two million items. The more up-to-date Endeavor OPAC software will allow students and faculty to personalize their searching through individual accounts, e-mail alerts, and new books lists. The Universal Borrowing tool will enhance those capabilities by allowing users to initiate requests themselves, which should speed up the process.
