Poncha Press Overstocks Available to Libraries Free

By LJ Staff

Poncha Press is making free copies of its overstocked books available to libraries. ‘Rather than discard the excess inventory, we’ve elected to donate books to non-profit organizations and government entities including public and school libraries,’ said Barbara Osgood-Hartness, Poncha’s publisher and editor-in-chief. Osgood-Hartness insists there are no hidden fees and that libraries pay only shipping charges. ‘Libraries receive new books for the patrons and the press receives a tax benefit,’ she said. ‘It’s win-win.’ Poncha publishes westerns, literary fiction, true crime, and armchair travel. Available titles include Michael C. Haley’s western adventure Durango Gold, Marge D. Hansen’s An English Experience: Exploring the Backroads and Byways of Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, and Hampshire, and Michael Burns’s novel Gemini. To request books, contact Osgood-Hartness by phone (303-697-2384) or email (bosgood@ponchapress.com).
