Marketing Trend #2: Responding to the Economy

Marketing Trend #2 focuses on responding to the current economic downturn. It may seem strange to think this is a marketing trend, but it’s status as a trend is evident when I review industry news: Target running its first TV spots that tout discount prices on specific items; Quiznos has launched an ad campaign promoting 20 sub sandwisches that sell for less than $5; Kmart and Sears promoting layaway.

Libraries can respond postiively in many ways. Take a look.
