Measuring Your Presence on the Web & Social Media

We all know that famous Jack Welch quote: "If you can’t measure it, it’s just a hobby." That is no less true when it comes to marketing. Two years ago marketing metrics focused on impressions, ad equivalents and page views — maybe you were even up to click-through rates in emails.

Today it is much more complex. But there are people out there doing very interesting work that you need to pay attention to. This week I spoke to Bill Balderaz, founder of Webbed Marketing, an company that is paying very close attention to who is talking, writing, commenting about anything anywhere on line. It is awesome!

Be sure to visit their website because there are excellent webinars that are good tutorials. In fact, there is one on January 20th on How Can I Responsibly Use Social Media Today?
