Oh, would that I were a 7 a.m. riser!, here’s where I’d be at 8 a.m. on Sun., Jan. 17, during the ALA 2010 Midwinter Meeting in Boston: the Association of American Publishers Trade Libraries Committee–hosted complimentary breakfast/booktalk at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, Room 151 A/B.
The event, to be capped off by a book signing, will highlight the work of six authors of short fiction: George Saunders (In Persuasion Nation, Riverhead), David Updike (Old Girlfriends, Macmillan), Shannan Rouss (Easy for You, S. & S.), Simon Van Booy (The Secret Lives of People in Love, HarperCollins), Lee Smith (Mrs. Darcy and the Blue-eyed Stranger, Algonquin), and Ha Jin (A Good Fall, Random).
Interested? Hurry: seating’s limited, and Sun., Jan. 10 is the last day to RSVP.
