Free Library Value Videos

Nancy Dowd at New Jersey State Library is always up to great things. Today, looking through her blog — which you should follow, I see that she is offering up a number of videos to libraries. All focus on library value in tough economic times.  With serious budget fallout, this message needs to be heard nationwide.

I love that these videos are so short and to the point. Hope you can use them (contact her before doing so at ndowd@ njstatelib.org — or create your own and let me know about them. Thanks, Nancy, for sharing!

Why can’t ALA produce something like this (but generic) that we could all use? This would be a way better National Library Week tool than the still image with a well-known author (though I am a huge Neil Gaiman fan!). Just a thought.
