Don't Miss This Webinar

epl2 300x150 Don't Miss This WebinarMark your calendars for Tuesday, July 12. That’s when I’m moderating a webinar through Urban Libraries Council, entitled: Branding the Future of the Library. You’ll not want to miss it. It runs 1 p.m. to 2:30 E.T.

We’ll hear from Tina Thomas, marketing head at Edmonton Public Library in Canada. She wowed audiences at last December’s Library Journal Directors Summit with the great work she’s done there. Visit spreadthewords.ca to get a sample of what you’ll hear from her.

Make a point today to join the conversation.

Comments

  1. As I registered for this event, after filling out the form with my name and contact information, I noticed in tiny type at the bottom of the form page that the cost is $150. For a 90-minute webinar? More than I can afford.

  2. I clicked over to sign up but stopped when I noticed, in very small print, that this seems to cost $150. Do you know if that’s correct?

  3. Kathy Dempsey, I see $150 as well. For Urban Libraries Council? I went to the next screen and it asked for a credit card and a coupon code. Hopefully they will provide 100% coupon codes?

The “digital divide” is passé–it’s now the financial divide, for urban libraries, no less. “You’ll not want to miss it.” Really, I think its that they don’t want us to miss it, at $150 a clip.
