Credo Inks Deal with OCLC To Provide WorldCat Search Results

In the latest of a series of deals that online reference library Credo Reference has made with major library services,  Credo and OCLC yesterday announced an agreement to integrate OCLC’s WorldCat Search application programming interface (API) into Credo’s General Reference Service. Library subscribers to Credo General Reference will have the option of getting a list of books via WorldCat related to their search. The new functionality will be available by the end of July, according to the announcement.

Since January 2011, Credo has announced deals with ProQuest unit Serials Solutions, EBSCO Publishing, and Ex Libris Group, in which Credo content was made available via the Summon, EBSCO Discovery Service, and Primo Central Index discovery services, respectively.
