Presenters:

Virginia Stanley, Director, Library Marketing, HarperCollins Publishers

Virginia Stanley is the Director of Library Marketing at HarperCollins Publishers.  She has been with the company since 1988, working with editorial, marketing and publicity directors to put books and authors into libraries.  She attends national and regional library conferences, talking about undiscovered, must-read books and offering advice on how to host successful author events. She was featured in the inaugural edition of Library Journal’s ‘Movers and Shakers’ edition in 2002 and has been moving and shaking ever since.

Ali Fisher, Library Marketing Coordinator, Macmillan Publishers

Ali Fisher is the Library Marketing Coordinator at Macmillan. Besides an obvious love of books and libraries, she harbors affection for coconut macaroons, puppies, and the theatre. She blogs daily about books of all genres at MacmillanLibrary.com.

Kelly Coyle Crivell, Library Marketing Manager, Random House, Inc.

Kelly Coyle Crivelli is a Library Marketing Manager at Random House, Inc. She started her career at Random House back in 1998 when the library marketing “team” consisted of only two people and there was not yet such a thing as a blog! And after nearly a decade away, she returned to Random House and is very happy to be reunited with the incredible titles and authors that Random House offers, having missed them very much over the years. Kelly will read just about anything- but has a particular fondness for books that make her cry- (Richard Russo always gets her!) and of course, finds nothing as enjoyable as the way Jane Austen can depict a character!

Erica Melnichok, Library Marketing Manager, Random House, Inc

Erica Melnichok is a Library Marketing Manager at Random House, Inc. It was her love for children’s & YA literature that drew her to a career in publishing. Her nine years of library marketing experience & passion for libraries led to her MLS degree in 2010! Her early years spent reading L.M. Montgomery, Laura Ingalls Wilder, & Cynthia Voight evolved into a love of all things Jane Austen, historical fiction, and strong heroines worth rooting for in any number of genres.

Elenita Chmilowski, Director of Library Sales, Perseus Books Group Publishers, New York

Director of Library Sales for Perseus Books Group Publishers, New York, Elenita Chmilowski is on a mission to enhance communications between publishers and librarians. Working with independent publishers vigilantly guiding and building their sales and distribution into (library and) retail channels. Elenita enjoys sharing, talking and blogging about what’s new in the publishing world for Thedailypretzel.com.
