Shawn Morin

Shawn Morin will serve as COO of Ingram Content Group Inc., effective immediately, Ingram CEO John R. Ingram announced on June 19. Morin will manage the company’s commercial activities, systems, and operations and report to Ingram. The company’s finance, legal and human resources functions will continue to report directly to Ingram.
Morin had served as Ingram’s CIO since 2009, when he joined the company from Bass Pro Shops, where he had served as CIO and vice president of information technology.
The move comes shortly after David (Skip) Prichard, president and CEO of Ingram, announced on May 25 that he would leave the company effective June 8, leaving chairman John R. Ingram to assume the role of CEO.
Ingram spokesperson Keel Hunt told LJ that Ingram plans to keep the CEO spot; no search for a replacement for Prichard will be conducted.
