Karen Gonzales is retiring after 37 years of service to the Missoula Public Library, MT. Currently the Children’s Librarian, she began her career as Circulation Clerk.
Julie Lepore has been named Director, North Scituate Public Library, MA. She previously was Director, Blackstone Public Library, MA.
Chris Markley is the new Librarian, Selma Public Library, NC. She was Children’s Librarian, Wilson County Public Library, NC.
Gerry Meek, CEO, Calgary Public Library, Alta., will retire on September 1 after 21 years in the position and 39 years in the profession.
Cynthia St. Amour is the new Director, Swansea Public Library, MA, replacing Kevin Lawton, who retired after 26 years of service. St. Amour most recently was Coordinator of Information Technology, Providence Public Library.
Colleen Shogan has been selected as Deputy Director, Congressional Research Service (CRS), a unit of the Library of Congress. She currently is Assistant Director, Government and Finance Division, CRS, and will begin her new duties on August 26.

Lead the Change is a library leadership seminar that brings together library thought leaders to show participants how today's top libraries are leading change and transforming their communities. Attendees are lead through a series of exercises to help bridge
