LibraryAware Community Award from LJ and Novelist/EBSCO Will Highlight Exemplary Community Engagement

Focusing on community engagement, the award will go to a community–and its library or library system—that recognizes the library’s role in ensuring outcomes that are essential to the vitality of its local surroundings. The first awards will be given in April 2013 to coincide with National Library Week; prizes will go to three winning libraries in the amounts of $10,000, $7500, and $5000.
