TAGSYS Marketing FOLIO 320 RFID Tag

By LJ Staff

Privacy issues and cost concerns aside, RFID continues its march into the library market. TAGSYS Inc. used ALA to debut its new FOLIO 320 tag, which, the company said, is designed specifically for the library. According to TAGSYS, the FOLIO 320 has a ‘256-bit memory, and the command set has been designed for both short-reply and long-reply ‘wake-up’ commands, allowing optimum access to data." The tag allows for the standard patron check-in/check-out and inventory management.
