Larry Price Leaving Ingram

By LJ Staff

Larry Price announced that he is vacating his office as executive vice president with Ingram Library Services "later this summer" after 21 years with the company. "I plan a sabbatical period during the fall to spend more time with family, complete a number of deferred home projects, tackle a file of tempting recipes, and enjoy a pile of leisure reading," said Price, adding "this time will allow me to draft the future chapters of my life, which has been filled with books and libraries." Price expressed "pride and gratification" for his tenure with Ingram, which, he said, allowed him to apply his "professional library experience successfully in a business setting." In additional Ingram news, Audrey Seitz has been named VP for Merchandising and Tamara Crabtree has been promoted to VP for Publisher Marketing & Creative Services.
