By LJ Staff

Well, the Niagara Falls Public Library, NY was supposed to get the rest of its $2.1 million 2005 budget from the city, according to a judge’s ruling. However, after the city dallied for two months without paying, the library went to court – and then the city filed an appeal. According to the Niagara Gazette, the library said the city owed it $446,697 as of Oct. 24. The city and the library have been at odds about timely reimbursements for library spending and who is in charge of hiring for open positions.
